regardとconsiderの違い

regardの意味は

「みなす、考える、評価、敬意、尊敬」

です。

Tom regarded him as the best teacher.
トムは彼を最高の先生と評価した。

considerの意味は

「をじっくり考える、検討する、考慮する、みなす」

です。

She conseder her friend a nuisance.
彼女は彼女の友人をやっかいものとみなした。

regardとconsiderの違いですが、

regardは、見た目で判断して見なすことです。一方、considerは、よく考えた上で見なすことです。
